PEGG COMPASSION
PEGG is a proud supporter of Compassion Australia and The Global Development Group and is privileged to be able to make a contribution to help release and set people free from economic and often spiritual slavery.
We invite our valued clients to do the same by supporting one of these organisations by contacting PEGG or our partners directly.
Through either of these organisations we can also arrange for corporate speakers to speak at your next Professional Development or Corporate event about a number of topics including:
- About a specific program or project that the group may wish to support as a corporate social responsibility project.
- State of the World from a social perspective - information and statistics from a range of sources including UNICEF, United Nations, WorldAid etc;
- The biblical basis for helping the poor, and particularly children;
- About Compassion - our history, our structure and financial stewardship, our current operations, measurable outcomes, specific stories, what it could mean to partner with us etc;
Who is Compassion
In response to The Great Commission, Compassion is an international Christian child development ministry, committed to child advocacy and working in partnership with local churches around the world to foster the spiritual, economic, social, physical and emotional development of children living in extreme poverty in over 25 developing countries. Compassion's ministry to children is distinctly Christian. Our child development programs are unique in that they are: Christ-centred, child-focused and church-based.
What Compassion Does
Compassion's holistic child development programs minister to the spiritual, economic, social, physical and emotional needs of children throughout all stages of development; from the womb to university. Programs operate exclusively through local churches in developing countries.
How Compassion Works
Compassion works in partnership with local churches in developing countries; providing resources, training and expertise to assist in the operation of holistic child development programs. Local churches are empowered to develop Compassion's programs towards meeting the specific and individual needs of the children within their local communities.
Where Compassion Does Work
Compassion works with the poorest of the poor children in over 25 developing countries around the world in Africa, Asia, Central and South America.
Compassion has nine ‘partner country' offices around the world, which provide the funds, resources, and assistance with program development for the successful implementation of Compassion's programs in the field, through a variety of marketing campaigns and advocacy initiatives.
